The Spanish Helmet – Misprints

misprints

Misprints are frustrating. Regardless of how many editors are involved in the pre-release stage of getting a book into print, misprints (OK, mistakes) still happen. Even when you have another six individual readers go through with a fine-toothed-comb, there is a possibility some errors slip through.

So is the case with The Spanish Helmet. One hundred copies of the book have gone out to readers with a handful of errors that have now come to my attention. It annoys me, but at the same time, I know I am in good company. I find mistakes in practically every book I read. Nevertheless, I want to apologise to any readers that come across such errors and ask you to please bring any new ones you find to my attention. Your efforts will be remembered (say, around the time I release my second book).

Some errors that I am already aware of occur on pages: 36, 53, 73, 180 and 335. Can you find any others?
