So is the case with The Spanish Helmet. One hundred copies of the book have gone out to readers with a handful of errors that have now come to my attention. It annoys me, but ...Read more»

Interview – The Spanish Helmet
How did you come up with the title?
The central artefact in The Spanish Helmet is an iron helmet found in a New Zealand harbour many years ago. The helmet was determined to be of Spanish origin and date to the 16th century.
